Hi! I work as a full-stack materials developer. I like to program and paint in my free time. And I like economics as well.
My science is mostly concerned with channeling and manipulating EM radiation- from RF to visible. I've worked on converting thermal energy to electricity via emitted thermal radiation, giving clothes the ability to strongly interact with radio frequencies, and designing new extruded and thermally drawn multi-material polymer-based fibers.
I love to make new things. I've programmed four apps (three are on the App Store), made
a few programs to scrape web data from Yahoo Finance, FRED, and Twitter, and now work on
using machine learning and deep learning for various vision tasks.
Lastly, art is close to my heart. Art should be beautiful and make you move. Currently I experiment with xieyi (写意) style.
